"Through this world I've stumbled..." (5 Vicodin)

Aug 31, 2013 13:51

Yesterday, well...I did say in theory. Which is to say, that I didn't get to the edits for Pink Delicious. But, I will today. In theory.

Mostly, I sat here and dithered. And fretted.

And I did this, so I'd have something , no matter how dubious, to show for an otherwise wasted day:

From the Desk of Isaac Glynwr Snow )

editing, kid night, red delicious, green autumn, archer, weather, cons, dragon*con, isaac glyndwr snow, pink delicious, lost days, good tv

Thus far, the photographs have been met with resounding indifference (from their target audience), but maybe you guys will enjoy them.

Well, I love them. They certainly convey a lot of character. Nice butterfly knife. Where did you get those keys?

Where did you get those keys?

Spooky gets them off ebay and etsy for her necklaces.

I've never been to a DragonCon, but I like seeing my friends' pictures from there.

I sometimes call myself a hipster fan because I went to Balticon in the late 80s through mid 90s, before companies like Creation and the success of media cons like SDCC turned formerly book-focused cons into a circus. Now that cons are popular they're no fun anymore.

I've succumbed to WoW over the holiday weekend, after more than a year off, so I don't have the brain to decipher your photos, but I do enjoy looking at them. There are lots of stories in there, I'd bet.

Well...let's hope you don't use the brass knuckles to beat yourself up to much, the booze is bad enough. Cool thing about the copper keys is you can still buy locks for them. Any house salvage place will have dozens. Start with the keys, then the locks, finish with the whole house. Imagine coming home from a late night out and using those keys to escape the elements. Too cool for words. Concerning Archer; I'm more a "Venture Brothers" fan. Venture Brothers are nothing but character development. I hate to recommend anything because I know you don't do that gig. Life's a bitch I guess. Beside, you had to grow up watching Johnny Quest to get it. Just got Ammonite Violin, thanks loads, good stuff. First good mood this year, so think of me and spit.
