Sunny and bright today. Currently, it's 87˚F, with the heat index at 93˚F.

Yesterday, more proofreading for The Very Best of Caitlín R. Kiernan (Tachyon). We made it through "The Ape's Wife," "Tidal Forces," and "The Mermaid of the Concrete Ocean." I'm getting frustrated that the summer is slipping away, and I have so much that needs to be written ( Read more... )

Cold here, after a freakishly warm day yesterday, after bitter cold and four inches of snow. Our high yesterday was 57˚F, and currently it's 25˚F, with the windchill at 15˚F. I've already had more of the winter than I can take, and we've not even reached Solstice ( Read more... )

Somehow, I made it to this side of yesterday. The day is overcast, and it's currently 44˚F. At least it's warmer than yesterday.

For now, the anger has ebbed. I'm just tired and depressed and a little strung out.

Though it was a somewhat harrowing drive, we made it into Woodstock about 4 p.m. yesterday, just as the snow began. Of course, there was already snow on the ground here, and, actually, we haven't gotten much new snow yet.
