This morning I was ready to go to work on the next section of the new Tinfoil Dossier novella, only I wasn't sure what it ought to be. Rain tonight, just a little for far, not long after sunset. Our high was 89˚F.

I had an off day. I just was never really able to wake up. I was going to read all the way through "Living a Boy's Adventure Tale," but I only made it through the first section. And I didn't get anything else done, either.

The rain from Christobal hit us in earnest about 5 p.m., but I think it's quiet now. I went out for a few minutes midday, had a cigarette, and the sun came out for a few minutes. That was the best part of the day, the sun through the clouds. Our high today was 93˚F with heat index. It's now 77˚F.

Sunny and warm today. The last day of May. We made it to 85˚F. It's now 72˚F.

And I wrote again, another 1,159 words on what I'm calling "Untitled Psychiatrist #4." By the way, yesterday was the day I had a had an actual word tally for fiction since April 23.
