I've been sitting here watching Christobal on the National Weather Service's Enhanced Radar Mosaic, her counterclockwise dance over the Alabama panhandle, coastal Mississippi, Lake Pontchartrain and New Orleans. The real storms won't reach us until tomorrow, probably. With heat index, our high today was 93˚F, and it's still 79˚F.
It was a truly rotten day.
