So there's all sorts of culinary reasons for me to be totally thrilled to have a gas stove in the kitchen of my current house. But you want to know what's my favorite part about having a gas range?

I just read an article about how furniture has been getting taller and wider as Americans have. This is absolutely reasonable! However, if this keeps up, I fear that within the next 20 years I will be unable to find an office chair or a couch that doesn't make me look and feel like a little kid with my feet dangling. So, friendslist/dreamroll mine ... I need a home computer. All I really ever use my home compy for is surfing the web, writing fic, and entering grades into Excel (oh, and the occasional foray into PowerPoint, though mostly I use my work computer for that), so I don't need a ton of processing power.
