leaving Broome was a horrendous waiting game. i finally arrived in Brisbane 25 hours after my initially scheduled flight was to land. first there was a canceled flight, then a mechanical delay which required an engineer to be flown from Perth, then the engineer's flight was delayed, then they needed a new flight crew to be flown from Perth. this ( Read more... )

today i swam next to the largest fish in the ocean. it was one of the most frightening, yet awesome experiences of my life. i'm glad that i did it, but i'm also glad that it's over. it was so surreal...i don't think i'll believe that it actually happened until i see the pictures! this is definitely a story that needs to be saved until i can ( Read more... )

today is my last day in Perth. spent the morning attempting to pack my bag. i'm hoping that i won't have to open the big one until Coral Bay in four days. i set out bright & early for my trip up the coast. i'm very excited to be embarking on a new set of adventures. spending today with luke and raff hanging out in the city.
