Man, it has been a rough couple of weeks with my girls. They have pretty much been sick the past few weeks, so we have been stuck here in the apartment and people are thinking we have fallen off the edge of the Earth. Arg. Thayana has puked twice since I brought her home. Poor little girl. First it was dinner and then it was the juice I gave her to make her mouth not taste like puke. I hope she stops soon - I am out of clean blankets. And I want her to be better, of course!

I think that's the end of our swimming plans with Ton and Ty tomorrow.

I went shopping yesterday and bought some healthier food choices for my girls. Since I skipped more of the sugary snacks and bought some organics instead, it actually came out pretty even. A half-gallon of organic, hormone-free milk at WinCo was about $3, which I don't mind paying. Especially since I got the stuff home and it tasted so good! It ( Read more... )

My Thayana is so adorable these days. She says the most awesome things. I just pulled up the launchcast website and she says, "Mommy, I want to dance!" So smart. So my kids are just awesome, of course. Thayana is at a place where she is just learning SO much - especially since she mimics Tariah half the time. The other day I caught her sitting at the table counting with Tariah. Then yesterday she started counting to three before she jumped off of something. I really don't have anything to write about except for my kids and the fact that I just can't stop eating for some reason. I'll get to the kids later, but part of the problem with the eating is probably my cycle. And the fact that I just can't say no! Four days down, two to go. I knew this whole work-six-days-in-a-row thing was going to be rough on all of us, but it actually has not been too bad. Thayana is doing VERY well - yesterday I picked her up from the in-laws' at around noon and then took her to my mom's around 5-ish.
