Some good with the crazy.
So my kids are just awesome, of course. Thayana is at a place where she is just learning SO much - especially since she mimics Tariah half the time. The other day I caught her sitting at the table counting with Tariah. Then yesterday she started counting to three before she jumped off of something. She regularly says "please" and "thank you" - usually without being prompted, and she is even talking in full sentences. She says, "I want a ba-ba" or "I want a bite". So adorable. I can tell that she is just absorbing everything.
Tariah is also learning a lot, but she seems to be doing it a little more silently. She'll just sit there and observe and then one day start talking about something that she learned a month ago and has been stewing on for a while. She recognizes stop signs and other things around her and is just so talented artistically. What a great kid. :-) I am really happy that we got her the digital camera for Christmas because she is always taking pictures with my camera phone and I can't wait to see what she comes up with when she has free reign with a camera. :-) And I haven't mentioned that I am freaking out a little bit that she is going to be four soon. My goodness! She is not my little baby anymore! School is right around the corner!
I have been sticking to my Points lately, and I can feel a huge difference in my body. Even my underwear feel very loose. I am waiting for Sunday for an official weigh-in, but I wouldn't be surprised if I lost at least two or three pounds this week. It helps that my monthly "fun" will be over and that will leave me one or two pounds lighter also. I think that the buffet that Blaine and I went to on Saturday helped me get motivated because I felt like crap afterwards and I was determined not to feel that way again. I hate buffets - I don't know why I go in the first place! Maybe this will remind me for the next few months... I haven't been drinking as much either - usually I would have one or two drinks ever few nights or so, but then I would end up going through the whole kitchen during my happy buzz. No good. I am much more interested in losing a pant size and looking great at Christmas than getting a buzz!
I am having a relaxing day today because I know that I don't have to go to work tonight, and it's my first Thursday since I started at Sbux that I don't have to work. In other words, I actually get to see Grey's Anatomy tonight. :-) Sweet! I am happy about that. We are out of food and feminine products though, so it looks like I will have to do that stuff today. Oh well.
