I just submitted my first/rough draft of my thesis. Definitely room to improve, but I also feel like it is pretty solid. I really like it, actually.

I am becoming increasingly irked by the media's focus on endorsements - in particular, endorsements by pop-culture icons. Excuse me, I'm sorry, but I don't give a rat's-ass if Oprah endorsed Obama. Am I supposed to be swayed to vote for Obama, because Oprah says she will? Aren't we all supposed to vote for whoever we want? That goes for you too ( Read more... )

My entire family thinks I should get personalized license plates.  Part of me wants 'em, but the frugal & and less materialistic part of Ramona says "Uh.  No."
