So, I just finished watching Sleepless in Seattle for the first time (as far as I can remember)...

...Is it just me, or is it actually a really sad movie?

Sad!?! It's happy. They find each other -- and they were meant to be.

But for 2/3 of the movie I was sad for Tom Hanks losing his wife. It's horrible. Then, even in the end when they get together, I feel really bad for Meg Ryan's fiance. Yes, Meg Ryan & Tom Hanks were "meant to be together" much more so than Meg & her fiance, but he still was totally in love with her.

I still totally enjoyed the dialogue - I just also felt really sorry for most the people involved.
