"On the road again..."

Lots o' work, with a weird schedule.  Lots of packing.  Lots of "cleaning".  Lots of attempts to say good-bye - or see ya later - to friends, but alas, it's a little bit hectic.

And really, I just want to stop it all to level my gnome mage - - or to see how Rand and friends are faring.

I'm kind of surprised at how well I'm doing emotionally.  The only time so far that I even *started* to cry a bit was after leaving work yesterday.  Last day at Fish & Game, possibly forever...They're such good people.  And such an amazing job.  But other than that, I've clicked into have-to-get-things-done mode.  Yearrgh.  I'm nervous about driving in Portland when I first get there - in particular, about driving Dad to the airport and then getting myself wherever I need to go.

But it'll all work out.  "The Wheel weaves as the Wheel wills."  <---- I'm such a dork.

Less than 24 hours until Dad and I drive out of here.  Drive out of air-banjo country!

It's a good thing I really enjoy road trips.  Of course, this is less leisurely than most...Oh, I hope see wildlife!  I want to see a grizzly bear eating a moose-version of Bambi, and a bald eagle trying to lift a king salmon too heavy for it.

Clearly, I'm just killing time because I really should be packing up the dishes Mom has bestowed upon me.
