We are celebrating Victoria Day this weekend in honour of Queen Victoria's birthday informally considered as marking the beginning of the summer season in Canada. Today one hour walk in our village was full of colors and smells.

Country life
It’s difficult to write even in English these days. Ukrainian language would be more appropriate to identify my attitude to what is happening in the countries of my previous residences (Russia and Ukraine) now. Rainy long weekend ahead
The forecast for the weekend is usual for the Lower Mainland: rain, rain and again rain. But this doesn’t bother me at all. I really love the rain and enjoy it walking gloomy wet days in the forest looking at local mountain tops, watching how they are changing their colors from deep green to silver white.
