Yes, I've finally gone through all my 6,000+ vacation photos and have culled out probably 700 photos of the Western horizon, mountains, other subtle things that would only interest a ADD geologist, shots of my [my feet, the sky, parts of something interesting] and duplicate shots. Yesterday's Iron Bowl was probably the most incredible football game I ever witnessed...probably the most exciting game of football I will EVER witness and I might just add it may be the most incredible sports event I will ever witness! A few more things to see and do in Shamrock, Texas. Seems they have a authentic piece of the Blarney Stone there that you don't have to hang upside down to kiss.

Stopped here to check out the Conoco Tower gas station. An awesome bit of Art Deco architecture that we later found out was the inspiration for a place in Pixar's Cars...a phenomena that would be repeated several times out the Route 66 portion of our trip. That's Vacation with a capital 'V' because it's been over 12 years since I took one that was this long. Almost 3 weeks! It was quite the trip and I've taken over 5500 photos...that's going to take some time to process all of those! I don't know if I'll ever catch up at this rate, but I still plan on posting to LiveJournal...I just don't know when. The next couple of months are going to be especially busy for me and Facebook makes it easy for smallish posts...so...I just don't know when I'll be able to update in the near future.

Hey! I'm still here and still kicking! I know it's been a while but I've been pretty busy getting ready for Katsucon and getting the house cleaned up and what all.
