I like: hurt/comfort, angst, romance, fluff, outsider POV on main characters. Different and clever formats (like, an excerpt of a history book, or an interview, or something like that- but I love more normal formats too!). Gen. Cheerful polyamory. Femslash.

I was feeling sick last night, and chatting with a friend. To pass the time, he started a story which we passed back and forth between each other.

( In a very near future, only somewhat more Greek than reality... or perhaps in a very Greek reality, only a little bit in the future, an old man and a clockwork robot huddled in the wreck of a starship gone horribly wrong. )

I've mostly been working on my original fiction short story. It's now just shy of 5k. I finished it, had a few people beta read it, and have revised it again. It gets some final touches and then, god help me, I'll probably try to find someone to sell it to. It's science fiction, so there's a market in magazines. I think it's pretty good. Maybe.
