At last we have a functional dining room table :)

Well teenagedethgrrl left for America yesterday morning and has arrived safely in San Francisco. We have just been out shopping to get a few things...among these was a bathmat which is now installed in the bath.

But it stinks :-(
Hopefully the stink will go after it has been used a few times!

This weekend tabatha_yeddap has done a really good job of getting the front bedroom sorted out......between us we had managed to decorate the room and to lay the carpeting in there. But this weekend we have moved a bed ibnto there and sorted out the furniture and things and the room is really nice. The television has now been moved into there so next weekend I ( Read more... )

When I woke up this morning I thought that today might just be a good day to do a last cut of the lawn - well, last cut for this year. I've been making the most of the rare sun that we are having today.....I've cut the lawn, done some tidying up outside and I've just managed to have a good hack at the hedges in the back garden. The clearing of the shed is going well......although it is very hot outside - but made more pleasant after I got the hose pipe out and soaked myself. Although my jeans are pretty much dry again now so I might just have to get the hose pipe out again :) I think I might rig up an outside shower for the summer - a very good idea that aenigma_xxx gave me last ( Read more... )
