(no subject)
I've been making the most of the rare sun that we are having today.....I've cut the lawn, done some tidying up outside and I've just managed to have a good hack at the hedges in the back garden. I hate chopping the hedges as it is such a pain and I always work up a big sweat when doing it. Today has been no exception so I think a nice cold beer is in order :)
My legs are in really bad shape and are covered in nasty spots so I put some short shorts on earlier to let them get some air - but left on long, stripy socks and New Rocks as I was doing serious gardening type stuff. I'm not sure about the look but it does have a strange kind of appeal - I was going to wear a pair of footless tights under them to cover up the spottiness but decided that getting air to them was more important than vanity but I might resort to that plan if it goes chilly later......but now it is a very great relief to get the boots and socks off now I have finished doing the hedges and grass and stuff. Barefoot for the rest of the day I think!!!
Now to go outside again, this time with beer, and enjoy the results of my efforts :)
