Day off.....
It used to be a regular thing - but it is very rare these days......
A Day Off!!!
I seem to have never stopped working over the last half term - true we have just had a week's holiday but that is never quite the same as a day off. It will hopefully give me chance to do some of the things around the house that have been neglected. I was thinking I might be able to cut the back lawn today but it looks unlikely as it is very damp and the sun is not shining on the grass so it is probably not going to dry out :(
Still, there is plenty else that I can get on with - helped by a todo list no doubt! It was nice to just wake up naturally this morning.....well, almost naturally as flossdog did a little barking earlier.
Right now I have coffee and am about to load the dishwasher and have a general tidy up and see what else needs doing......the one thing that I MUST do today is to try and get the staff laptop from school to boot which might prove impossible. At worst I'll have to boot it to safe mode with command prompt and manually copy all documents over to a USB drive then then make use of Lenovo's recovery partition. The staff laptops were not imaged as they all need different software on them and in any case the external hard drive we store images on has failed and is being returned under warranty which means I have lost all my disc images :(
Time to boil the kettle and start loading the dishwasher.....
