So, about a year ago oftheeast and I chopped down the forest that is my backyard. It was covered in pokeweed and morning glory, and the clothes I was wearing got covered in thorns and stickers. Given that I was wearing a flannel shirt I just peeled off the layer and threw it in the laundry room, where it sat for a year.

I'm finishing up Peggy's hat tonight. I'm a little peeved because I've been working so hard on it and I spilled some ice cream on the satin, and there's a noticeable stain. At this stage in the process I can't remove the fabric because there's just so much more to it now. So, I'm doing what I can to remove the stain. Plus I have to figure out ( Read more... )

A while ago (this spring I think) I went on a quest for a hooded jacket because it was at that temperature where you don't want to bust out the winter coat, but it's too chilly to not wear anything.
