For the purposes of having dedicated space to library focused content and discussion I have created this WordPress site to host my commentary on libraries, technology, publishing, media and other work related content.

This was my first expedition out of the house without my translating friends.  So I had  that little hurdle to climb to begin with.  But I made it down to the XiaoBA, little van, just fine and off to the main gate.  The main gate drops you off at Luojiashan, aka Plastic Street. It's amazingly quiet at the office today. Of course it's Sunday and we don't open for another four hours. It's a good moment to get caught up on those little bits of writing that need to be written.

Work

Work is going good. I interviewed for a management position and I have high hopes of where that could take me. I'm also starting a side project that I need to get cracking on today if I plan on really making it happen, and I do plan on making it happen.

This morning I woke up early enough to get my partner off to work on time (more or less). I printed out my Borders DVD coupon. Went to the bank and deposited all the back rent that's been piling up at my house.
