Another Long Overdue Update
My last post was about it having been ten months since Mike died. It's now four years and six days since he died. A lot has happened in that time. I left the terrible call center where I was working and started working for a friend who owns a local MSP. I do IT support for other local small businesses. It's a good job. Addendum to last post: Adventures in finding a part time job.
Ok. So I calculated what staying on call all the time would get me vs. a part time job at min wage. Staying on call will actually give me an extra $550/month gross. Day after Xmas scare (a bit TMI)
Got a nice little scare. By nice, I mean the opposite and by little, I mean I'm not out of the woods. I was woken up with intense abdominal pain around 3 or 4 yesterday morning. GI problems update
So, I've been off of the antibiotics for quite a while. It still seems like I'm having the side effects from taking them, though. I got fed up with it and dug out the lab order that GACS sent. I think it was a good idea to do that because my previous blood test only checked for the normal things, i.e. white blood cell count, cholesterol, glucose ( Read more... ) -
Waldo Canyon fire
I wanted to post some pics from my phone, but the lj mobile app won't allow it for some reason. I think it is a combination of the new scrapbook and the fact that I no longer have a paid account. Heartburn
For the past, well quite a while, I have had bad acid reflux. Recently, it had gotten to the point that I would take ranitine (Zantac) before bed and also wave to take some tums because of the reflux. I finally got fed up and went to the doctor. DC's New 52
As far as comic books go, I've been more of a Marvel fan for most of my life. Spider-Man was my favorite as a kid and still is, to a great extent. I would watch Superfriends and the old Filmation Batman cartoons on TV, but never really read any of the books that inspired those shows.
