So Firefox was bogging down on me, lots of choking on scripts for gmail and google docs, bloating up to gobble most of my RAM, and all of the bad behavior that I recall not-so-fondly from the Netscape-on-Solaris days (anyone else who has run Netscape on Solaris feels my pain.) Last time I visited my doctor, I'd lost about 10 pounds, and this time I'd lost another 10 -- she was a little alarmed. I don't blame her as weight loss is a sign of hyperthyroid and could have meant my meds were adjusted wrong. I got my blood test done today, for my next thyroid checkup. I also hunted down a pharmacy -- in Walnut Creek, alas, but at least in California -- where I can get natural dessicated thyroid. Some fixes to prevent future augh:

Found a new addon called Weave Sync from Mozilla Labs, which does pretty much exactly what I want: syncs history, bookmarks, and tabs to a server and even between multiple sessions. It rather inobviously stores your other tab sets under History, but I actually prefer manually bringing my tabs over to some crazy ( Read more... )
