Yesterday a book-signing aboard the Queen Mary with co-authors. Coincidentally, there was a "Psychic Fair," or some such gathering aboard. 1. Yesterday was spent moving neighbors from three-bedroom house to one-bedroom apartment, second floor, no elevator. Managed not to do any body reconstruction. Also managed not to break any one of the finger nails that I have been cultivating for the past month. This has been an interesting year. In some ways, it has been the worst year within memory that did not involve the death of close family members. In others it has been surprisingly positive.
