This has been an interesting year. In some ways, it has been the worst year within memory that did not involve the death of close family members. In others it has been surprisingly positive. Or perhaps you're overly grounded (in boring, mundane work ) and you're bashing that which grounds you (cutting off your feet to spite your legs).

It sounds like you're coming out of it. It is painfully clear you haven't been happy at this job and it impacts the rest of your world. I have missed you! I think most of us have had to grind away through a year or two to be responsible and all that crap, but it isn't the way it will be forever.

Even if it's not work you're inspired by, I'm proud of your book. And the best part is you can write another one! This isn't your only offering. :-)

Welcome back to your life. You will enjoy it again soon. :-)
