There's a lot that bothers me about the phrase "I don't judge" (or "try not to", etc.). What I need to understand is why people say it, what they mean by it, and why it's bad to be judgmental. I have slept for 2 of the past 36 hours, and it feels like I got a full night's sleep last night . . . and it was worth it. I also just went for a job interview in Long Island (at the very last reaches of NYC public transportation) and they said "they would be getting back to me very soon".
