The process of re-intergration home is in full swing.

Stage 1 - acquisition of new mobil number - complete! The number is 0468 880 980. For Sarah, just change the last digit to 8!

Stage 2 - set up joint bank account - can be done now we have phone numbers

Stage 3 - get my CV polished and out in the w

After 2 years and 2 weeks (or there abouts) we're home, and it feels good!

Today I parted company with my 4 wheeled friend. The lotus had its last drive in the UK around the M25 as I delivered it to the shipping company not far from Heathrow airport. It's wheels won't turn again for the best part of 3 months ( Read more... )

The plans to return home are progressing. We have booked 5 nights in Tokyo in a traditional style Japanese hotel. It's near the center of the city and should be a good launching point. We've also booked 2 nights in a rather luxurious hotel at the base of Mt Fuji that has views of the mountain from it's natural hot spring baths. Looking forward ( Read more... )

Our plans to return to aus have been put into full swing. Over the weekend just passed, we purchased one way tickets home. We leave London on the 2nd of March headed towards Tokyo where we spend a week of holidaying. We then jump on a Jetstar flight landing in the Goldcoast before the final leg to Tulla and home on the 12th of March ( Read more... )
