Project re-entry
The plans to return home are progressing. We have booked 5 nights in Tokyo in a traditional style Japanese hotel. It's near the center of the city and should be a good launching point. We've also booked 2 nights in a rather luxurious hotel at the base of Mt Fuji that has views of the mountain from it's natural hot spring baths. Looking forward to that. Then we spend 1 night in Yokohama before heading back to the airport.
I've started the process of going through the cupboards, taking every thing out and separating the stuff into the chuck out pile, take home pile and leave behind pile. This weekend we plan to put all the stuff we'll take with us together so we can figure out how many boxes we'll need to ship. Based on that, we place orders with shipping companies for the boxes and for the car.
It's getting close now!
