I started knitting. Im making a scarf, which is what people usually make when they dont know how to make anything. its a lot slower than crocheting (which Ive known how to do since I was 8 and have made many blankets), and the flaws are more apparent. I found out that my student loans from my undergrad need to be paid off starting in January. Ummmm. I cant afford it because IM STILL A FULL TIME STUDENT. But they dont care. Its 90 months after the first disbursement that payments begin. I could apply for 2 more 6-month deferments, but have to do that one at a time, and even then, I'd still be in ( Read more... )

I had planned to go to NYC next month with my sister, who was going to visit me. I initiated the trip because its lonely in Troy, and I dont have many friends here at all. And I cant believe 20 minutes ago I just blew $200 on the latter. But damn, it's worth it. And knowing me, I'll be watching them in order until I fall asleep on the couch.

I spent the weekend in Halifax, Virginia where it was sunny and 80 degrees. I got to see the Appomatox Court House, and also the site of the Batlle at Staunton River. This morning in Troy, NY it's snowing. And the only thing I see in front of me is my unfinished homework assignment and gas prices $0.20 more than when I left on Friday.
