Winter Feast Goals

get togethers?
People sounded enthusiastic about the idea of getting together in person, but only one of you showed up for the last one, despite a number of positive poll responses. Are folks still interested in getting together to chat about practice, share ideas, etc? If so, I'm happy to schedule more; if not, I'm still curious to hear what you're up to ( Read more... ) -
My Update
My practice has been going really well. I think this was the kickstart I needed. The first couple of days were a little rough but now I am doing 30-60 minutes every morning. Weekends seem to be a little harder for me to do it first thing in the morning but I am doing it ( Read more... ) -
How's it going?
You all have been quiet! :) I personally had started off the Feast with a bare-bones kind of practice that wasn't exactly what I wanted to be doing, but felt like all the practice I had the spoons for at that moment! Right around Imbolc, I felt like I had space for more and have taken some things back on. -
Reminder: get-together on Thursday!
This coming Thursday, 1/29, we'll have a get-together at my house from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Let me know if you need an address or anything; it would be great to know who to expect :) Please also comment if there's something that the last two weeks have made it clear would be especially helpful to you as a use of this time! -
I fail at poetry
but I adamantly do not fail at feasting my soul. I've been swimming in soul food of all types this week. I took my soul out to play all weekend, and read a lot of great poetry ( Read more... ) -
Feasting
I'm overwhelmed, but pleased, with the idea that what are doing is Feasting. It is, for me, an image of more than enough, and more than enough not just for me, but for all. My intention was to write a poem, or at least a fragment of a poem, each day for the next 40, as a way of making more space for creative writing and poetry in my life. So like a couple others have posted, my practice didn't happen in the morning yesterday but I did take some time last night for my prayers, meditation and some light energy movement. I think I slept better for it as well ( Read more... )
