After taking Grace to the park for a while, John stopped in at the Perk with her to pick up a coffee for himself and some hot apple cider to take home to Zoe.

Angel noticed John come in and remembered him from when Blair had his class. "Mr. Winchester."

For Angel that was a warm and loquacious greeting.

John glanced over when he heard his name. "Angel," he replied, shifting unconsciously so that he was between the vampire and his daughter's stroller. Some instincts died hard, even when the so called threat probably wasn't.

"Yours?" Angel asked, using his coffee cup to gesture in Grace's direction.

Wilson was actually swinging through the Perk to pick up a latte to help him get through his night shift at the clinic when he saw Angel.

"Good evening, Angel." He said with an easy grin.

"Wilson," Angel replied with a nod of greeting. He gestured that Wilson could take a seat if he wanted.

Giving the pager on his hip a quick check, not that he was expecting things to be too insane this weekend -that was usually parents' weekend- Wilson headed over with his latte.

"Didn't think you were going to make it in to town this year," he said.

Yes, he'd noticed who had come back and who hadn't. He was a dork.

"Logan's under house arrest," Angel said, by way of explanation.

After spending the day at the market, John wandered in and spotted Angel.

"Hey, ugly!" Trying out new greetings was fun.

"John!" Angel got up to give him a hug.

John returned the hug and did some manly back patting on his old roommate. "Hey buddy!"

Angel did manly back patting as well. Only gentle, since he didn't want to kill John. "Hey. How's it going? Getting nervous?"

Isabel made time to stop by the Perk before heading out to dinner with Parker and River.

"So do you only remember to use the phone when you get back on the island?" she asked.

"What are phones again?" Angel replied, looking innocent.

Isabel smirked. "A new-fangled invention an old geezer like you will never understand. I bet you're still using carrier pigeons."
