Angel had been reluctant to dance becamse OMG leave Logan in Neptune. But he did want to see his friends as well. So he'd compromised by skipping the first night of Homecoming and showing up for the second.

"He made me promise the same and not to hide in bed and grieve. So I haven't. Haven't even been able to sleep in my room." She ducked her head. "Everyone's been really nice. Thinking I might take Jack's advice."
