This is Jaye, who needs to give a quick shoutout and thank you to Phoebe, for calling me with the news that she and Bel are, in fact, together. Serious points for that.
Edumacation
US Government has a sub in the form of a Muppet eagle, which... all right. We had chickens, why not an eagle.
Self-Defense class not club learns about situational awareness, and
Shop is canceled, but people still stop by to check on Professor Mac. Wow. You're all much better people than me. Moving on.
Speech learns about reciprocity and gets an assignment,
Western Civ learns about the Byzantines, which is a fun word to say.
Magical Theory does dream interpretation. Yeah, take it from a girl who had to do a dream journal, it's easier if you actually sleep. Um. Not dirty. There's a movie in
Math class, and Professor Eppes says he'll be leaving after Friday. Oh noes!
The
science classes take a midterm and talk about their field trip, which sounds like oodles of fun.
Celtic Studies? Midterm.
Sociology? Midterm prep.
Not Advanced Journalism? Midterm projects.
US History? Midterm.
Journalistic Integrity? Midterm projects.
Anthropology? Midterm.
Advanced Journalism does prep for the midterm, but the animal of the day? Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Not-Crunch was a puffin. A wee, itty birdie. I need to sit in on this class, dammit.
Gun Club people, check your E-mail.
Aeryn stops in to see
Principal Washburn, and
Dean Tube's assistant dusts while he holds office hours.
Professor Dream's office is busy, with Elizabeth, Anders, Cordelia and Rory all stopping by.
At lunch,
Pip has gone all glittery, and that's the best thing ever.
Victor warns against going into the third floor common room, which should be obvious. Because the third floor sucks. And... *long pause* I don't even know how to describe what
Walter, Nadia, Pip and Victor were doing. Suffice it to say there were orifices involved, and it was dirty, but not in the way you're probably expecting.
In the clinic,
Walter gets a new bandage and
Dr. Susan is open for counseling, but no one shows. *pause* So Wednesdays are open?
At the
library,
Angela and Zero talk invisibility,
Zero and Anders talk about how getting covered in beeeeeees would suck, and let it be noted that
Anders actually seemed slightly sympathetic towards Archie. Which means the Apocalypse is so nigh, people. Repent now. Or don't. I don't really care. And
Peter and Zero are so getting glitter flags from me. I don't even care that he bothers me.
And of course there's
play rehearsal. Which is long and involved and I'm just saying there'd better be jazz hands in there somewhere.
Living Conditions
At the gym- and I swear my notes say this-
Angel watches Callisto move up and down. You can't tell me that's not dirty. Well, you can try, but I won't believe it. Also, in the gym,
Molly gets hurt on the punching bag and is taken to
Crunch's room.
Deliveries!
Bel gets a scroll- seriously? a scroll? And
Pip gets flowers. Those had better be glittery flowers, mister.
In the third floor common room, there's a
special screening of Bel vs. the Wheel of Morality. It doesn't draw a huge audience. Wrong demographic, maybe?
Alphonse avoids reading, and to that I say hear, hear! Here, here? Especially during midterm season. And then he totally
goes back on that not-reading thing. Traitor.
John and Aeryn have a fight, and really, it's good to see those two crazy kids back to normal.
Victor? No longer a kitty. Good for you!
Nadia and Veronica chat on the roof while the rest of us were sleeping. Except
Molly.
Crunch- happy?- is still seeing in monochrome, and
Blair is having a bad hair day.
Janet has gone sticky, and what the hell is going on in this school? Someone test the water.
Xander's dreamy, and by the way, speaking of dreamy, I said I'd say it on the radio, but Bridge totally is.
Walter and Victor also do the sleepy thing.
Hey!
Hamlet's not a statue anymore! How's it going? Are you kinda stiff, or... what's that like? Not that I ever want to be a statue, but really, there are questions you need to ask. Like what happens if you get an itch?
Veronica sends E-mail, and she hears about the Shop Class robots from
Pip. I bet I could kill a robot. Accidentally. In a fluke accident. Pip gets some sympathy from
Maia, too. And Veronica brings cookies to
Archie. Who should totally use the phone again if he needs or wants to do something like bitch me out. Which he has a total right to. Just saying.
Rory and
Parker stop in to see Aeryn in her new room.
Posters go up for... pyramid stuff. Which is not like the pyramid that our people play. I'm talking you get two people to pay you and they get two people to pay them and next thing you know you're in a minimum security penitentiary.
Blair sends E-mail,
Kara and Lee are all cute and stuff, and
Cally is hyper at Anders. If she's going to be bouncing like that, stay away from the stirrups. I don't speak from experience, but as of yesterday I have a horrifyingly clear mental image, so. Yeah.
Marty's hanging in the second floor common room with people and pizza, and
Professor Mr. The Tick talks to the alien fish in the first floor lobby. Um. Okay. Awesomest thing ever. I want to tease the little fishie doom thingies.
Out and About
Victor picks up a project from Sparky Repairs, and at the Perk, Professor Chaucer's hanging out. There
Blair comes to chat and play with Cash,
Professor Cregg comes by to be kinda sweet, and he and
Tonks chat about Ivanova.
The Doctor gets a little delivery, as does
Orlin. I want stuff. Everyone should send me presents. If it has a face, I'm killing it, though.
Aeryn heads into Blood Gulch Arms, which is still fun to say, and
Caritas is open but quiet, and I need to head in there to tease Tino about his thong. Have I even met Tino?
Giles gets back from New York,
Cafe Fina is open for business. Look, there's not a ton going on.
The
FTEC sees Blair coming in to get his hair checked on. *another pause* Hair? Like... Hair? Um. At
Empire Records, Paige stops in to ask for extra hours this weekend, and
Bel and Not-Bel run into each other at Jack's Roses. Huh. That had to be interesting...
I will talk at you all some more next week. Till then... Whatever.
