Parker knocked on the door, after seeing Aeryn's stuff in the room a little earlier. Not many people are that into black and red. "Aeryn? It's Parker. You up for company?"

Aeryn hesitates for a moment, then says, "Yes." Though really she thinks it's more like possibly. "It'll be fine."

"Anything I can do to make it easier? Alcohol, chocolate, run interference between you and other people...?" Parker's not going to bring up John's name yet, since she has no idea what's going on, but, duh, Aeryn's not in John's room, so it can't be all *that* great.

"I honestly can't think of anything," Aeryn says, since she can't even shove homework on people yet if she was so inclined. "But I appreciate it." And she actually smiles a little for the first time in days.

"Sure. I'm just glad you're back in one piece. Albeit sooner than I thought you'd be." She cocked her head at Aeryn. "When you can stand to talk about that, I'd like to know what happened. But you don't have to get into it now." Parker bit her lip. "Crichton's been-- weird, since you've been gone."

"So I've heard," she says. "Which is funny, since he seems perfectly normal to me." Which right now, is not a good thing.

Parker sent her a sharp look, then carefully said, "Well, for the last two week he was coping in his own unique John-Boy way. But he missed you, that much was obvious." She took a breath. "Other than that, not much is new. Except that Darla is still in jail, so there hasn't been a threat from that corner, and Belthazor is trying to go straight. Apparently. So everyone's that much safer."

And that is actually a relief, no matter how mad she might be at the idiot ex. "Any word on Drusilla?" she asks, because really, that's her main concern.

Parker smiled. "Took off for parts unknown, if the Radio got it right-- that ex of hers came back, and whisked her off on the back of his motorcycle. Evil Undead Romance Wins Through." She crossed her arms. "Which isn't as cool as a handful of dust, but I'm taking it for now."

"Yeah. So." Parker fidgeted, then settled for, "You were missed. Isabel and Cameron were both talking about you in gym, and I know a couple other people mentioned missing you too. Are you going to be able to stay, this time?"

"I shouldn't be leaving anytime soon," she says. Which is true. Because she'd have to get her Prowler away from the troopers first.

"No answer I give to that is going to make people happy, so I'm avoiding it," Aeryn says honestly. It's not a matter of rathering anything. It's just that she was there, and now she's not, and now she can't be.
