...and when you put it like that, it's not long at all! That's just hit me, and last night I drew up a long to-do list of stuff which must be sorted soon, or at the very least, before I set off. My places on the expeditions I've chosen have been confirmed. :)  I'll be counting birds and insects in the Ecuadorian Amazon for ten weeks and learning to dive to survey the coral reefs on the east coast of Mexico for ten weeks also! It's always amusing how 2 inches of snow stops the UK in its tracks. If we had better cars maybe we would deal with it. But frankly, I think we just look for any excuse to stay home from work/schoo/etc.  We were sent home early today. We're all contemplating a group boycott tomorrow as well. Given the sentiment of my last post, it would be lovely if I could now STOP dreaming about  a certain person. Waking up with him as the first thing on my mind is something I've been trying to avoid for the last six months. Today was the first time I have socialised with Mike since the weekend he broke up with me. And I can honestly say (and I did, to my sister) that he doesn't affect me all that much anymore. I flew back from Thailand on Tuesday. Due to the Bangkok airport closures it ended up not being quite the trip I had planned, but I still had an amazing experience!

Yeah, I did it again. It's in my left tragus. I cleaned it up before taking this photo, though! I'm surprised to find it doesn't really hurt at all, and I can easily lie down on my left-hand side.
