So, Action Logement - the "nightmare" site linked to social housing that we have been bidding on apartments through is studying our file for our latest bid - the "senior" one that I mentioned. It's hot...I do not do well with temps over 23 degrees as it is but 29, 30, and more...no way. Luckily, in general, our current apartment is cool enough and we keep the shutters partially closed during the day to keep it that way but I have fans going in the rooms I am in, anyway. I really still miss A/C...
