I brought my car into the shop a couple weeks ago to fix a check engine light issue. Apparently my oxygen sensors were no longer functioning correctly, which leads to decreased fuel economy. Matt is an omnivore when it comes to movies. I like a good good movie every now an then, but I definitely can't watch them like he does. I think the problem is that I get too emotionally involved on things I see on TV (when I was 5 I cried watching the smurfs). We didn't watch much television growing up. Winter
Stupid pipes burst again. I really need to suck up the cost of occasionally heating the bathroom. The problem is that it's an addition to an addition to the house and is as far away from the wood stove and the furnace as it possibly be. Funny cat story
For his 30th birthday Matt asked his parents for a dumpster. I had made an agreement with him that he could get a kegerator for his homebrew on the condition that he clean out the shed and the gear room. Armand had a very close call. He'd been running really slow for a few months now and fell off the coffee table one too many times a couple weeks ago and wouldn't start up at all. Took him down to the Apple store and got the sad prognosis of a dead hard drive. Poor guy. So we took him in to the shop last week and picked him up this afternoon. ( Read more... ) -

I seem to have developed a pattern of posting whilst home sick. I'm not really all that sick today thank goodness, but I definitely feel like I could be coming down with something. Winter is upon us
First snow of the season today. Great big wet flakes. It was rainy and sleety all day, then naturally started snowing by 5:00 for my evening commute. Still raining at home, but it seems to be changing over as a type.

Pumpkin Beer
We had a pumpkin beer tasting party over the weekend and had a Very good time. Great people, yummy food, good fun carving jack-o-lanterns and tasting a wide variety of pumpkin beers. The winner by far was Matt's homebrew. I think it is by far his best beer ever and the best pumpkin beer I have ever had. All of our friends agree. Also with ( Read more... )
