Hell, it's still better than "Heather." The worst thing was having a last name beginning with "P" and a popular first name. Whenever there was another Heather, and there frequently was, I'd be "Heather P." Gotta love the urine reference.

there were so many with my first name in band alone that we had to give each of us a nickname, remember? and i know 4 others between college and work.

oh, i found out through the grapevine that there's a facebook page for the CHS music dept. and B has submitted his retirement letter early due to some sort of financial incentive, but still has time to withdraw it if he changes his mind.

But you've always had a common name. It's different when you've been unique all your life and suddenly find yourself in the top 80. It's very disconcerting.

Matt finally got himself a facebook page and I've had a hard time tearing him away from the computer since. Maybe one of these days I'll cave in and get one myself.

Maybe I won't.
