This is the second year in a row where I've found myself too sick to work 2 days after getting the flu shot, and retreated to my bed. This time seems milder than the last, with the bad part lasting less than 12 hours. And this morning I'm back to at least 90% - after more than 15 hours of sleep

I've long been mildly annoyed when I hear businesses presenting themelves as "servicing" their customers rather than "serving" them. I never understood the change, with its implicit sexual metaphor, but presumed it was a matter of business leaders disliking seeing themselves as servile

The pre-patch for World of Warcraft's next expansion went live yesterday. I'm not having a good experience. Perhaps it's time to get back some of my free time, and save a trivial few bucks a month. I installed it, and had to do a hard reset on my phone to exit the app in a hurry. When I regained control of my phone, I uninstalled it. I think this is a record for minimum time on my phone
