Sept 3 Post a day
So it's Friday of Labor Day weekend, not that an extra day off does anything for me I've got them all off now.
However, it does mean that amazonx will be coming over and I'm going to the Renaisance Faire on Saturday. I have not gone at all this season which is pretty amazing. I used to be there every weekend both days. *shrugs* I don't know, guess the ( Read more... ) -
Sept 2 update
So yesterday I spent nearly 5 hours attached to my phone becasue of a problem with unemployment. It's all settled but I lost time that I needed to get stuff done. (and I'm lazy too) amazonx is coming over on Friday night after work and we're going to the NY Renn Faire on Saturday, and hopefully meet up with inthesestones and Kris.

Random thoughts
There has been so much and yet nothing going on. I am officially unemployed for the first time in....... a lot of years. I can't pay for my cobra so I am stockpiling my insulin and hoping that I will get a job soon.
Part of me want's the time off, but I'mnot doing the things I want to do so what's the point.

Pictures of history
My cousin Jim is the family historian and put on our family facebook page some old photos of our granparents. They died before I was born so I never met them and almost all of the photos I've seen were of them older. These photos I thought were pretty neat. They're from around 1910? My father was born in 1912 and he was the oldest child.

Feeling like a failure
In my life I have never gone for a job and not gotten it. This job I wanted? I didn't get it. I was 'the front runner' 'their favorite' but the owner's son had a friend who had the right qualificaitons and she go the job.
I know that in this economy it's hard to get a job, I am facing unemployment next week. I cannot afford cobra. I can barely ( Read more... ) -

I am very worried about being unemployed. My last day is a week from today.
My fingers are still crossed about the jobI want, they say I'm the front runner.
Tonight some old pics of me were put up on FB, the Renn Faire stuff I didnt' mind but there was an album marked L&M wedding. No actual pics of me or Lee but still mildly freaked.
