You are not a loser!

Now that I said that... **HUGS**
Unfortunately, I am in the same boat right now. You are a resourceful woman and will survive this.

I also know that you need a little time to digest this fact, so.while you do... **hand over coffee and chocolate and ice cream.**

I know this is going to sound trite so please read it later when you can.

There are a lot of things that suck a LOT right now. Money is a legitimate reason to freak out and so is health. Not having either while you job hunt is not fun.

Here's my 'however'. There are some things about being off work that you can try to enjoy. I know, I'd kick me too. But you'll have time to write, time to think about anything and everything you've never had enough time for before and opportunity to explore other types of careers. You may not want these things but they are available though obviously at the cost of no job and much less money.

Also, you aren't a loser. You're another consequence of a shitty economy. You will bounce back. In the meantime I hope something or someone finds a way to lift your spirits.

Not getting the job does't make you a loser! Giving up will. So, you allow yourself a day or two to feel sorry for yourself (because, lets be realistic, you will) and then you take a deep breath and get on with it. You go out there and find something... it may be different, it may not be what you expected, but you get on with it, one day at a time - not saying it's easy, cause it's not, but you can do it.

(here endeth the lesson) *HUGS*

Keep putting yourself out there and don't be afraid to think outside the box. Take your resume and look at the skill set rather than the job title. Look for positions that seem like they'll fit your skills and write your applications so they'll match up.

And don't get discouraged!
