[ABSOLUTE WORST DAY OF HIS LIFE

He's crying and yelping like the hopeless little wimp he is! Probably crying out for his mother in whichever way he can, too. No better way to pull out words from him than by making him desperate.]

Nn-no! Please!

[Don't expect anything less (or more) than tears and further wimp-behavior from Alet, lady. He has officially crouched over to cover his face with his hands, making sad little sounds.]

shouldering the bat (it blinks).]

Uh...so, you're saved? Get up?

[As if finding himself on unfamiliar grounds wasn't enough to trigger something, people suddenly come up to him and shove him with accusations that he's never even heard of before. Isn't this great.]

Leave me alone. [He tries to walk past them, doesn't see any reason to react, but they just won't let go of his clothes, and he finally shoves them back violently, irritation and slight panic in his eyes.]

I said leave me the fuck alone!

[ What is up with all these idiots on the attack today? Sprinting away from his own troubles, Teagan only stops when he realises that there's an actual group after one guy. At first he frowns, before it turns into a scowl, and he changes course, heading shoulder first into the nearest of the people trying to get at Lewis. ]

[Lewis isn't much of a fighter, only learned to throw punches out of necessity when strangers took offense in his attitude, and the anxiety induced from the trouble he sees himself in isn't doing wonders to his reaction time. He jerks back when Teagan interferes, still feeling someone's grip on the sleeve of his jacket--both of them are now staring at the display.]

[ Superstrength and all that come in quite handy at times like these - otherwise it would be quite unlikely that a somewhat scrawny, 5'6" teenager would steamroller an adult in quite the same fashion that Teagan just did. He straightens with mild surprise that it worked - indeed, Lewis' attacker is sprawled on the ground very dazed - and he glances up at Lewis to return the stare.

Er. ]

You know you've still got someone hanging off your arm, right?

[ Mm, beating people up, what else is new? With some amount of feral precision, he knees his assailant in the adbomen, helping him sink down with a less than companionable thwack on the shoulder. ]

Rude.

[See, things never really turn out great when you make the brave decision to step away from what you would usually do -- see a fight and walk away like nothing ever happened, it's more likely to get you in unnecessary trouble otherwise -- but something tells him that it's a monster hybrid getting attacked for no good reason, and he can only think of what it would feel like if he saw it happening to Teagan.

Needless to say Jerry doesn't really think when he makes his way to them quickly -- maybe just pulling them apart and appealing to their good senses would work? (Jerry you idiot) -- but he stops barely a couple of steps away from the conflict when Oxford makes a good show of just how well he can handle himself.]

[ Dusting off a shoulder casually, Oxford wastes very little time in identifying another scent behind him also human. It's better to be safe than sorry; with one sharp movement, he whirls around, a hand stretched out to grab Jerry roughly by the neck. ]

[He flails just a little bit, given how quickly it happens, and can't seem to muster anything with his voice other than a very weird and startled sound. His current predicament doesn't really allow for words, does it.]

Wh--!

( A rough grunt, harshly followed by a jagged snarl. Her face has a bloody gash down it, the blood stinging over her eye and forcing it shut as she snaps her teeth towards their jugular. There's no words, but she's moving fast, trying to get her hands on them, to force crippling feelings through their chests. )

Get away from me.

( Her fingers swipe again, but even if they're human, she's weaker than usual - a fourth appears, and Jules feels the air punched out of her chest as a needle pushes through her shoulder muscles. )

[ But the forth one is soon to disappear as Em slams a cricket bat against the back of his head. Not too hard, though, enough to knock him out. Em isn't that clean either, eye all bruised and nose bleeding from a punch (or something). Hybrid whore, that's what people usually call Em. She pays little mind to it, as long as she can keep Jules safe.

She drops the bat - not because she wants to, but because one of the assaulter punched her to the floor and now that she's trapped under him, he punches her jaw, hard.

Whoops, lucky she isn't spitting teeth. ]

( Rage sets in. She twists her hand away from the human, slams her hand against his chest and lets agony rip through, pain that sets all his nerves alight, emotional and physical mixing together until his heart can't keep up. A shudder and he's down, body convulsing.

Two are down, two remain, and the one not attacking Em swings a chain across Jules' back, metal links forcing the air out of her body before he brings them back for a second swing. Never mind him - she's heading towards the one attacking Em, and she doesn't think before lunging at him, teeth tearing at his throat while her nails - claws, as she uses them - sink into his shoulders.

Her mouth is a bloody mess, but she stays over Em, protective, even while there's a warm body in her hands. )

[ Em breathes out in relief once he's no longer punching her, instead covered by Jules. She's wheezing more than breathing and crying in pain, jaw red, blood coming out of her mouth my by, bruises on her neck as he had held down. She's tough, but not that tough, and they are going at it pretty badly.

But there's still one left. Em screams when she sees him ready to strike and grabs onto Jules, hard, a grip that keeps her close. And then she turns them around, just before she chain hits, grazing her back instead of Jules'. She screams in pain, strength in her arms vanishing at the impact.

She has to protect Jules, Jules and the baby. ]

[ FJf;asflasf Teagan is not a fighter, she is a runner. This is pretty clear from the fact that she is huddled behind some crates in an alley and there is a raw patch of scratched skin where some bastard decided to rake their claws down her face. After a bit of scuffling and shrieking, she managed to get away, but for how long, she doesn't know.

Muttered under her breath, to herself: ]

Jesus Christ, won't this place ever just give it a rest?!

[Hey Teagan, you boyfriend has been cowering away too. Luckily something kicked in to let him know where those awful NPCs would be trying to get to him, so he picked all the right places to avoid just that. Needless to say he's terrified out of his mind. Only the sudden feeling that Teagan might be around pulls him away from that, so he's going to be around looking for her very, very carefully.]

[ Is there someone there? Teagan suddenly tenses, unsure if she just heard movement or not, desperately glancing around herself. Is there anything here she could use as a weapon? Not that she can see. Mouthing a bunch of curses and swears to herself, she simply stays still for a long moment, until she hazards a quick peek from her hiding place - only to be flooded in relief.

In a hushed manner, almost like a stage whisper: ]

Jeremy!
