I'm not feeling very festive for various personal reasons. It's been a strange, unsettled year and Christmas is usually about rest and contemplation and hope, but I don't know what any of those things would look like for me right now.

I FINALLY SAW CALE.

When Lou Reed died, I was like, this is it because Cale needs hate to keep him going and without his great love/enemy I thought he'd deteriotate quickly. Sadly, this was correct.

LIKE the new Woman in White adaptation despite the completely incomprehensible costuming (it's a bizarro world version of the 1840s where the women are in the 1910s but the men in the 1820s and people are bragging abour liking Coleridge) and the fact that they made Laura a ditzy hippie, Walter a bohemian and the plot feminist????
