The check engine light on the car was nothing. Well, almost nothing. When the AC compressor fried it took the main sensing module with it, so it's perpetually reading a problem that does not exist. The mechanic manually checked all the sensors and verified that nothing is wrong with the engine. Which is astonishing, as it had almost no oil or ( Read more... )

The car's running again (it was severely low on oil and coolant, and desperately needed a flush), but now the check engine light comes on.
