Off to my parents' place in about a half hour or so, trying to duck the megastorm as much as I can. Going to be a quiet one. The brother and his family will not be there, just me, Mom and Dad

I've had exceptionally good luck with a D-Con live trap. It's a tunnel with a pivot. When the mouse goes in to get the peanut butter bait at its end, the trap pivots and closes the door behind him. I caught 6 mice in 2 weeks with it and I'm about 99% that I no longer have mice in my house. I haven't heard any mouse sounds in a few days and the trap has not been tripped in that time.

During the fall I put steel wool in various crevices of my house and along the outside I used expanding spray foam. Hopefully I found all the mouse entrances and sealed them off.
