Making sterling balls today. I love the economy of this - making scrap into something useful. Seems magical. ( 3 process photos HERE. )

I'm having an email discussion with MnH right now about "messy" and thought I would show my workbench just now. I am telling myself I must FOCUS - I really need to get to work on some jewelry! I have been using up too much of my time on paper and books.

This is the work of the last few days. I ordered a special white cloth box thingy that goes over everything and cuts out the glare from the lights when you photograph but won't have it till next week. I will take better pictures then of everything but just wanted to get a picture on here to chronicle when I got these things finished. I just can't ( Read more... )

Got down to the studio today for the first time in it seems like weeks. I'm making some ceramic 3 dimensional cabochons and then I will make enamel cabochons to "go with" them later.

Tensing with his new haircut - he looks cold, poor little thing, parked in front of the heater - he gave up soon after this and went upstairs:
