I came across the most wonderful set of illustrated podcasts on youtube with stories told by an artist named Suzka about living with and caring for her mother with dementia. Dementialand.

Today was our Mom's birthday. Which I didn't think about much today - though I did remember it and mentioned it at Candy's earlier today when I was looking at her calendar. For the first time in a while I had a really good long (9 1/2 hr) sleep last night. Slept in till 5:30. Which for me is the perfect time to get up. I get to watch the dawn and have alone time. Started doing my shoulder exercises and did quite a few when I noticed the window area all lit by the dim indoor lights - plus I could see outside and see ( Read more... ) -
