ridge trail today

Candy and I had a lovely 6 mile hike. It wasn't supposed to be that long of a hike but on the way back I noticed an unmarked trail heading off into the woods. I get energized when I see a trail I haven't been on before. I'm very grateful that Candy is a willing hiker. At the time we saw the trail I was looking forward to getting back to the car -
