The unfortunate thing about remodeling was that it tended to take place during daylight hours, when any sensible vampire would be sleeping. Mosquiton stood blinking in the sunlight, watching through his dark glasses as the building folded up on itself.

"It was a nice place while it lasted," he said to no one in particular. It had been a place to lay his head for a while, even if it was nothing like home.

Neka had wanted to see just what the Warden was going to do with this building when he ordered people out of it. She gave a low whistle as the building disappeared. She then noticed Mosquiton and walked over to him, shifting one half of her headphones so that she could hear a bit better.

"You ok?"

"Er," said Mosquiton, drawn out of his thoughts. "Mostly. Yes, I'm fine. Just not very big on sunlight, you know?"

She looked around, sending a glance to the Warden as she shook her head. It was like he had the abilities of a Composer.

"I've got room in my apartment if you need a place to stay."

Azula watched, saying nothing. Her arms were crossed, and she watched with a look of detachment, but anyone who stared into Azula's eyes would see different. Azula had become strong in Econtra, and it happened, more or less, by waiting and seeing. Of course she had to train and she had to act quickly, but there was little that could not be attributed to watching. Right now, her eyes were trained on the Warden, a man shrouded in mystery as the day she met him. His motives were unclear, and he was one of the hardest men she ever had to read, if indeed he was a man.

Not that any of that mattered, for now. What she was concerned with were the actions he was taking now, and how it would have a ripple effect on the rest of the compound. If that fool Faye had cleared out like she was supposed to, she was sure this was something they wanted to be in the know about.

If this building was what the Warden said it was, this was another piece of the puzzle.

As promised, Shadow was quick to arrive on the scene once he'd spotted the Warden making his way to the building. He made no attempt to speak to the Warden - there really was no point, after all. The human had his purpose, and he'd been told of the hedgehog's.

Shadow was more interested in keeping an eye on the other residents than the Warden and his work. He'd seen the man repair buildings in a similar fashion before, and while it was strange, it was more important to watch the fools who might try to interfere. He did, however, glance back when he caught the Warden's movement out of the corner of his eye - would the construction of the second Consulo begin now? Or would he wait until later?

The sight had been hard to miss and as soon as it began, Rouge headed towards it, knowing she'd find Shadow there. A glance around showed that no one had decided to try anything stupid and stop the Warden from completing the deconstruction, however he had done that. Whatever 'complicated' means he had used, she didn't care about right now, as long as he planned to use it again soon to finish the project.

Rouge barely acknowledged Tohru when she moved to stand by Shadow. The girl was secondary right now and she saw no reason to start a conversation with her right now. "About time he got started."

Faye had been waiting anxiously for several days, leaving the building as briefly and infrequently as possible, and lurking around the front door with an eye out for the Warden. She had been waiting to confront him; she was prepared for this to be a confrontation that she would lose, but dammit she sure as hell wasn't going to back down.

But Faye had to sleep sometime. And it was just her luck that the Warden would show up as she was sleeping in late after a restless night.

Her eyes snapped open as she felt the whole building begin to vibrate, and the air filled with dust. She rolled to her feet, already dressed, and quickly threw on her bomber jacket, pockets already loaded with the essentials. She sprinted for the door of her first-floor apartment, and then toward the door of the building, but before she could reach it- the walls and ceiling folded, crumpling inward, blocking her escape. Shit! The air was thick with dust, she couldn't see, couldn't breathe; Faye bent over in a coughing fit, her eyes streaming with tears ( ... )

There was no shortage of people in the peanut gallery smirking and talking amongst themselves, but as Faye headed toward the crowd, meaning to shove through them and go take a bath in what was officially her new apartment in Building One, she picked out the sound of only one quiet laugh. She snapped her head around to glare at the source of the offending noise, stopping abruptly and putting her hands on her hips. "What the hell are you laughing at?!" she snarled.

Solomon Kane dusted his cloak off and frowned at what lingered of Apartment Building 3. More or less naught but rubble and one irate woman. Vri-Eksi had been his home for almost a year now, but he felt no sense of loss at its implosion. He carried no real fond memories of the place. And for restless wanderers, any type of lodging was but a brief respite anyway.

A taste of things to come. For some reason, that was the thought that came to mind as wolf-like blue eyes followed the Warden's departure.

"Full of charm, isn't he?" Atem said dryly, wandering over. Her ears were folded back slightly, tail fluffed out somewhat, as she watched the destruction.

He recognized few among those gathered thus far. So it was a surprise when a complete stranger addressed him. Her feline features caught his eye in a rather obvious manner, but he did not stare for more than a few seconds.

"And wit." he remarked. "He tore yon structure down in the most painless way possible. Aught who ignored his warning need only bear the bruises and embarassment now." Of which the purple-haired woman seated in the rubble could certainly attest to.

The Puritan removed his hat, turning to her. "I trust ye've not been deprived of a home." No, he didn't count himself among them.

It took Atem a few moments to adjust to his mode of speech, but she soon did, and giggled, shaking her head. "Not me," she said. "My home was untouched. Though I guess he could've picked any building at random, I guess."
