Characters: NPC!Warden, open viewing to all
Where: Site of Building Three
When: A few days after
this postSummary: Warden has deemed that enough time has passed and everyone should be evicted from the building. He will now disassemble said building.
Warnings: Depends on who was too stubborn to leave...
He walked with measured steps, appearing completely absorbed in his task. First the Warden walked the entire perimeter of the building, stopping to examine its foundations and its supports, his lips moving silently as though making mental notes for later recall. As the residents gathered behind him -- and at a safe distance -- he barely paid them any mind, dedicated to his current task.
Once he was done his inspection of the building, he made a cursory check to ascertain that the remaining residents were at a sufficient distance for safety. Then he strode to one front corner of the building, placed his hands flat upon the weathered stone, and...
... nothing happened.
At least that's how it appeared at first. In fact a few snickers could even be heard from the assorted residents, to which he paid only minor attention. But then the whole building seemed to vibrate, particles of dust shaking loose like snowflakes and filling the air, causing a chalky taste and eyes to water.
The far corner of the rooftop folded in on itself, as though a block had popped itself out of alignment and melted into the brick next to it, and then another, and another. Working from the rooftop down, moving faster and faster, the building literally compressed itself. And it wasn't just the outside, but everything inside as well. Inner walls, floors, furniture, even personal items that had been left behind in the evacuation.
As for anyone still left inside? They may suddenly find themselves dropped a floor at a time as the building disassembles itself right out from under them. There is no debris -- nothing falls, nothing is broken in the process -- so the worst they may have would be some bumps and bruises. When the process is done, they will find themselves sitting in the dirt and concrete landing where an entire building had once stood.
The Warden steps back, finally. The expression he wore might almost be called satisfied.

[OOC: Characters can talk about what happened, but the Warden probably won't be answering questions here. Maybe he walks off somewhere when he's done, or just keeps examining the site and not paying them any attention.]
