Why in the world am I wearing this suit? And more importantly, why do I know how it works? I'm supposed to be a history teacher, not some kind of technology wizard...

...Actually, I'm sort of glad I have the suit. I'm feeling strangely vulnerable today.

Ugh. I think that must be the nastiest thing I've ever been through. I mean, it's not as though I really need to breathe, and I can't exactly get sick, but still... ugh.

It seems I've finally found the perfect roommate. She's quiet, neat, reasonably well-spoken, and doesn't mind if I sleep in the closet. And she's inedible. What more could I want?

I actually feel a little sorry for the Warden. Not just because he got burned to a crisp, but because they made him go crazy in the first place. I know just how it feels.

It's a new year, or so they tell me. It looks more or less like the old year to me. It's charming, actually. Nothing has really different from what it was a few days ago, when the year was some other number, and yet the passing of a few days brings such a sense of hope to some people...

It's almost Christmas... Honou and Yuuki never cared much about holidays. They're even older than I am, even if they don't look it, so I suppose after a while the days of the year stop mattering. Well, I got my key back. I still don't understand why someone went to the bother of stealing it in the first place. I mean, I saw there was an explanation, but it didn't make a lot of sense to me... Only a few more days until Halloween. I always used to like Halloween, back at home. The one day I could walk around as myself and no one would bat an eye over it.
