One other had the same idea as Siegfried. This other being the crime fighting hero, Darkwing Duck. Without rampant crime around, he was sure he would lose his touch. It was his solitary nature to go somewhere with few people and do so at the point where many would still sleep, but not during his 'work hours.'

Which was why he too was already working out/training in the farthest corner of the park at dusk, still in costume, but he chose to go with his cape and hat for his training.

When Siegfried arrived at the place he'd decided on for practice, he frowned as he saw someone already there. 'A duck?' he mused with some surpise. But why not a duck? Siegfried's cook had been a bird of some sort when they'd first met.

"Guten Morgen, Herr Ente," Siegfried greeted amiably. He would try his hardest not to let Econtra's strangeness get to him more than it already had.

Darkwing jumped at the sudden voice, swirling around to face Siegfried. How could he have forgotten not to let his guard down?!

He quickly straightened up, trying to looks compose. He wasn't sure what the person said, but he hoped it was a greeting. Sounded German, he thought. "Good morning to you, citizen." He said in his most friendly hero voice.

By this point, Siegfried wasn't all that surprised that the duck could talk. He'd never before seen a duck decked out as a masked hero. It was an interesting sight to say the least. Siegfried could at least approve of the duck's color scheme.

"American, ja?" Siegfried asked, trying to place the accent. Although if ducks didn't have America, this one sounded as though it were from some equivalent.

The usual ramble of any little groups in the center of the park never caught the blond's attention, there was no point in bothering people in groups. They could just ignore someone and move on with their stupid little lives. Which was exactly the reason she sought after the people by themselves. So easy to taunt and so hard for them to ignore her! It was absolutely perfect.

Grinning to herself Larxene took to perching in a nearby tree, feet hanging down from where she was. "You know, a dull weapon isn't much of a thing to practice with! The weight and make will be weirder when you have a real one."

By this point in his practice, Siegfried had warmed up enough to shed his jacket and shirt. The clothing had been carefully folded and set on top of the basket Siegfried had brought. The man himself was clumsily going through the barely recalled maneuvers from his lessons.

A voice disturbed Siegfried and he paused, first looking around and then up to spot a young woman in a tree. "Perhaps you are correct, Fräulein. But this is what I was given when I made my request."

In reality she didn't seem phased in the least bit by the fact that he didn't have a shirt on, that wasn't a big deal. Hell, she couldn't have cared any less right then. Taunting someone was much better than drooling like a moron. Not that she would, that wasn't her.

Smirking a tiny bit by the surprised look he seemed to be, in her mind anyway, she hopped down from her branch. She didn't seem to have a single issue with landing, standing once she was steady on the ground again. From beneath the coat she pulled what appeared to be some sort of kunai, dulled obviously. "They even take your personal weapons and dull the damn things. It's horrible."

Siegfried studied the strange little knives curiously. They didn't look like they'd be much use in a fight, but the woman held them as though she knew exactly what to do with them. It seemed to him that antagonizing anyone who handled a weapon with such ease would be a bad idea, so Siegfried decided to remain on his best behavior.

"It is a shame, Fräulein," he agreed. Slipping into the barely remembered en garde stance, Siegfried performed a lunge, stabbing at one of the trees with his dull blade.

Ryou was in what was becoming his favorite spot in the park, a comfortable spot underneath a tree, with a good view of the lake. Not many people came to this area, and that was the way the usually solitary young man liked it. As always, he had his cards out, and was going through them. He was mostly plotting strategy at that point, thinking over what he could do in most situations...though in the back of his mind, he was also thinking of asking Yusuke if he wanted to go for a walk that evening.

He did, however, notice the presence of others in the area. It was hard for him not to; the habits of Dark World were all but impossible to break. One person he caught sight of looked somewhat familiar in a distant way but he couldn't place the face. Perhaps he'd seen him on television somewhere in his own world. There were certainly more than enough duelists here, after all.

Deciding he could use a break, Siegfried set the rapier down beside the basket he'd brought. Then he strolled to the lake, where he took a moment to splash some of the cool water on his face. Even such a simple motion was performed with a beautiful grace by the duelist.

With a glance around, Siegfried noticed a young man watching him. Being watched didn't bother Siegfried. He merely nodded a greeting to the man.

Ryou nodded slightly, then turned his attention back to his cards. Just as he did, a gust of wind caught hold of some of them and spun them towards the lake. That was not what he wanted, especially since the one closest was one of the few he'd kept from his old deck: Cyber Phoenix. He got up and hurried over to get it before it actually blew into the water.

Siegfried turned to better feel the breeze on his face. It felt delightful after his work-out. It also gave him a chance to see a card coming his way. Deciding that he didn't want to see the card wind up in the lake, at least not until he'd had a look at it, Siegfried snatched it out of the air.

Yamato worked out in the section of the park he'd picked for himself, moving gracefully and quickly. His sword might be blunted, but he'd grown used to that and went through the motions anyway, moving with all the skill that only years of practice could possibly impart to a person.

He let himself sink fully into the workout, wiping away the concerns that haunted him every other time. There was just him and the sword, the sword and him. The weapon was little more than an extension of himself as he whirled, leapt, flipped, and flowed all over.

Siegfried had stopped for lunch. He'd set himself on the ground to enjoy the simple sandwich he'd put together all by himself. This break allowed himself the time to look around and watch others who'd come to the park. As he'd guessed, the park seemed to be a rather popluar area, even this remote spot.

Siegfried soon spotted a young man moving with a grace and skill that Siegfried himself was trying to gain. Siegfried's eyes tracked the young fellow, following his movements and trying memorize what he was seeing.

When Yamato finally finished, he was only the slightest bit out of breath. It took sparring against someone to really get him to work up a sweat, though this solitary workout was good too. Maybe he'd look up Jaenelle when he had a chance, since Atem was also a victim of the sudden comas.

He ran his fingers through his hair, pushing some of it out of his eyes, thinking he'd have to get a haircut of some kind soon, then noticed someone was looking at him. It wasn't the first time he'd been watched while he worked out, of course. But he thought he recognized this person from when he'd been a unicorn.

He grinned a little, feeling a trifle mischevious now that he'd worked out and had his blood flowing all nicely. "You didn't stare that much when I was a unicorn, you know."

Siegfried blinked, surprised to discover that he'd met this fellow before. He rifled briefly through his memory of that meeting to recall the unicorn's name. "Ah! Herr Yamato! I wasn't studying you when you were a unicorn."
